NEW YORK CITY (VINnews) — Republican Lee Zeldin was the clear winner of Tuesday’s debate. He had strong messaging, focused on issues and substance, was energetic, and most importantly—he repeatedly pointed out that NY State under Governor Kathy Hochul has been a disaster.

Hochul, on the other hand, was cold, robotic, and her messaging was weak and, at times, even bizarre.
At one point, when Zeldin asked why Hochul hadn’t talked about locking up people who commit crimes, she replied “I don’t know why that’s so important to you.” (Shocking video below.)

I’m voting Lee Zeldin. I think he’s great. Hochul is awful. That said, on the clips Zeldin did better. But if you listen wire to wire, I don’t think he did that great.
cant believe that hasidim whom the litvaks with better English skills and education are defending from HOCHULs onslaught are now going to vote for her, this is even worse that Satmar meeting Ahmadinejad and FJCC supporting Toeiva supporting Democrat UFT member liberal frei Steve Saperstein over Inna Vernikov who is frum because Dems told them to.
If only because Zeldin is pro Trump would be a good reason to vote for him , let alone all outer stuff

Honestly, i don’t see this as Zelidn was the clear winner,
Yes he had some good points. And I loved the way he responded to why he supported Trump. he pointed out all the issues based accomplishments that Trump achieved. You can’t debate this and he cleaerly won that. But Hochul has some nice substantive resposnes to. On the economy she noted clearly what she is doing for infaltion. She is building more houses to bring down rent etc. Subway crime, yes its nice for Zeldin to say arrest more folks and end bail reform but how much will that help. She said we have increased cops at the subway and added cameras. And she noted she will work with the NYC mayor Adams unlike Cuomo the rasha who spent his days undemrining Deblasio.
Yes Zeldin has more passion but Hochul more substance. And a vote for Zelidn means you validate the rasaha Cuomo antichos and may even cause him to go back. I agree with Zeldin on ideology and think he will be better for frum jews. He has my vote but there is this doubt in my head. And Hochul surely ain’t that bad either
Why did no one mention the fact that Hochul ate choulent with Jewish donors ten years ago so she must love Jews while Zeldin has never even been seen eating a piece of kugel in public?
I will be supporting Kathy Hochul. Zeldin is an election deniyer.
