JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In a shocking incident which occurred in the town of Tiberias in broad daylight, an Arab man tried to kidnap and throw a married woman into his car. The young religious woman fought off the man and screamed, and he was later arrested by Shin Bet operatives. The suspect, a 51-year-old Arab resident of Yafia, is being investigated on suspicion of nationalist motives in the kidnapping. The suspect claimed to police that the woman had been mistaken and he had not intended the kidnapping.

The victim’s husband later said that: “My wife fought like a hero, a real lioness, she fought him until she chased him away”.
The woman, whose name has not been released, said later that “I was walking in the street and as I passed the car he opened the back door and pushed me towards the car. I thankfully realized that he was trying to push me into the car, I fought with him and fell on the road and he went into a store. I ran to the central bus station and summoned police, who asked me to describe the man and brought a police van. The moment he left the store I told the policeman to hurry and arrest him before he escaped.”

Eh, not exactly. “Hero”? “Lioness”? “She chased HIM away”? Looks like the husband has been hitting that bottle early and often.
Umm. That does not look like he was trying to kidnap her.
It looks like he has the door open and was waiting for someone to come and thought that was the person and when he realized his mistake he puts his hand up as I’d apologizing.
He had the door open and was half inside well before she was close to him.
However I totally understand that she thought she was about to be kidnapped due to the fact that she is a woman and there is always an extra threat when it comes to terrorists in Israel.
From the video though looks like an honest mistake.
