NEW YORK (VINnews) — Democrat Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, who is frantically struggling to win a tough race, is trying to persuade Chassidim to vote for him.

Maloney, a top Democrat House leader, is essentially trying to pump $94 million in federal funding into Kiryas Yoel.
In a letter obtained by The Washington Times, Maloney asked NY state officials to forgive the Satmar community’s debt for a huge water project.
The letter urged the New York Health Department to use funds from the Biden infrastructure law to forgive the debt incurred for a $94 million water project.
Maloney is currently engaged in a heated battle against Republican Mike Lawler in NY-17. Lawler has been a close friend of the Jewish community in Monsey.
Maloney chairs the House Democrats’ campaign operation, which would make a loss particularly humiliating.
Kiryas Yoel could deliver roughly 10,000 votes in Tuesday’s elections. The Satmar Rebbe, Rav Aharon Teitelbaum, has already endorsed Governor Hochul.
The town is completing a 13.5-mile pipeline project to connect itself to New York City’s Catskill Aqueduct for a long-term water supply.
“Their project is extremely important to the residents of the Village and has the potential to help multiple communities in the region better access reliable drinking water,” the letter said. “We ask for your firm commitment that New York State will give full and fair consideration of these requests which will expand access to clean and reliable drinking water in the Hudson Valley.”
The NY-17 race is so crucial to the Democrats, even President Biden has stepped in for assistance. About two weeks ago, President Biden personally called the Skverer Rebbe and asked him for the support of his chasidim in the coming midterm elections, specifically for Sean Patrick Maloney.
Hey to bum – it is my money. Who gives you the right to play with the taxpayers money to the tune of 94 million to get elected. Bum i hope you lose real badly.
$ over anything else.
If Maloney loses it will be such a busha for him as he is in charge of the democrat
For those surprised at the outpouring of hate, here’s exhibit A. Hard earned tax dollars being used to buy votes , from a נואף no less
A quintessential case of selling their souls for a dollar.
If someone is religious they do what’s right for klal Yisruel and dont break the achdus of support. If you believe in money above Hashem then you have to examine your concept of what religion is to begin with. Hochul and the present administration is the antithesis of what is good for the frum
Community and actually causes much harm from
Education , safety to repulsiveness as far as conduct in Many ways. No one that claims religion would engage with such .
You mean he’s bribing them with tax payers money that we will need to repay
Just wondering how much more of our tax money has he promised the rest of the frum community
Finally everyone can see the true face of our “leaders”
Hey give me 94 million and I’ll vote AOC too.
Show me the money! Yesiree!
This is plain illegal.
Satmar who considers themselves the champions in fighting the zionist government should be ashamed that they sell themselves for money.

Sorry, but he isn’t running in the KJ district so your ad against Maloney is full of Baloney!!
Due to redistricting, he no longer represents KJ, so they won’t be voting for him anyway. So all those posters talking about $$$ over anything else, etc. you can calm down.
Besides, he was vey helpful to Yidden with the First Step Act and other laws for Klal Yisroel (in general, not KJ specifically), which is why many feel that we should vote for him.
Maloney , who attacked those who questioned the integrity of the 2020 election and called them election deniers . Out with him !
Unlike hochul vs zeldin, it sounds like there is no direct benefit in lawler. Why not go for the money
