JERUSALEM (VINnews)— Palestinian officials reported that two Palestinian brothers were killed during clashes with IDF forces early Tuesday north of Ramallah. The incident occurred hours after another Palestinian was killed in Beit Umar, a town near Hevron during clashes with troops after two military vehicles broke down there.

The Palestinian Authority Health Ministry said the brothers, Jawad Rimawi, 22, and Dhafer Rimawi, 21, were killed, allegedly when Israeli troops opened fire at them in the town of Kafr Ein. There was no immediate confirmation from IDF sources.
In the Beit Umar incident , Palestinians opened fire and threw stones and explosive devices at the soldiers after their jeeps malfunctioned. The soldiers responded with live fire and other riot dispersal means, according to an IDF report. Palestinian sources said that Mufid Ahlal was killed in the clashes with IDF forces and 8 others were injured.
The IDF reported that the jeeps were successfully rescued by IDF forces and there were no injuries to troops.

The IDF said Tuesday morning that troops had arrested two wanted Palestinians during overnight raids in the towns of Jaba’ and Kafr ‘Aqab. This was in addition to raids on Sunday night, where 16 wanted Palestinians were detained in custody.
