Ironically, the topic was the “clear and present danger of disinformation.”

Now Sulzberger is getting slammed over what some consider hypocritical comments, considering his own newspaper’s flagrant bias, distorted reporting, and incessant targeting of Orthodox Jews.

Jewish advocate Joel Petlin tweeted a video of him condemning disinformation and wrote: “The @nytimes publisher is in Davos explaining that “misinformation, conspiracy, propaganda & click bait” are “undermining pluralism” & the greatest “threat to democracy” while his own reporters are doing those very things in a biased series against Hasidic Jews.”

Sulzberger also said about the NY Times, “When we make mistakes, we acknowledge them in public and we correct them.”

He was called out by conservative journalist Tom Elliot who sarcastically tweeted, “*except for Stalin’s 5 year plans working well, Iraq WMDs, Russiagate, Russian bounties, Covid being unusually dangerous, Covid vaccines stopping transmission, Officer Sicknick being “killed,” global warming worsening storms & basically every other article they’ve ever published.”

In addition, Sulzberger compared condemnations of “fake news” as “enemies of the people,” phrases popularized by former President Trump, as following the pattern of Stalinist Russia and Nazi Germany. He called for “real sustained effort” from social media platforms and lawmakers to reject the phenomenon.

The panel was hosted by Brian Stelter, the woke former CNN anchor who was recently let go from the news channel due to his leftist agenda.

They converted in the 1890’s there has not been a Jew there in ownership for over 100 years. And as of the sixties they’ve become a left leaning anti American rag

Poor arthur. Trying so hard to ingratiate himself with the anti semitic woke world by publishing the lies of the haters and running fast from his roots. Alas, his great big shnoz gives him away as a descendant of a Jewboy.
