Hatzalah EMTs were summoned on Tuesday morning to the home of Rebbetzin Chana Pesha Deitch on Maharshal St. in Bnei Brak after she did not wake up from her sleep. Rebbetzin Deitsch was whisked to the Tel Hashomer hospital in an ambulance and was later declared dead.
Rebbetzin Deitsch was born on 28 Kislev 5754 to the Spinka Rebbe of Bnei Brak-Donulu, Rabbi Yisrael Chaim Weiss and his Rebbetzin Chava Weiss, the daughter of the Biale-Pshischa Rebbe. In 5774 she married Rabbi David Deitsch, the son of Rabbi Matisyahu Deitsch, the Rabbi of the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood in Jerusalem. The couple settled in Bnei Brak where they raised their children in Chasidic schools.
Rebbetzin Deitsch supported her husband and enabled him to study Torah. Her sudden death is a huge blow for the Spinka chasidic group. She is survived by her parents, siblings and four orphans with the oldest only eight years old.
The Levaya will take place at the Segula cemetery in Petah Tikva.
May her memory be blessed.
