Harav Yitzchok Breitowitz, currently Rabbi of Kehillos Ohr Somayach, after a distinguished career as a Rav in Silver Spring and as a world-renowned lecturer and rabbinic authority, made aliya to Eretz Yisrael and joined the Ohr Somayach faculty as a senior lecturer. He was ordained by the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in 1976 and is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Harvard Law School (JD, 1979, Magna Cum Laude). He was a tenured professor of law at the University of Maryland specializing in contracts, commercial law and medical ethics.

The point about black and white pictures of women in Jewish papers 100 years ago is not comparable to our full color high resolution publications of today. Secondly it’s not dehumanizing not to publish pictures of women. Frum women understand the idea of tznius as much as they don’t expect men to shake their hands. I do think that they shouldn’t post pictures and blur the women, that may be more humiliating.
I personally spoke to the owner of one of the largest mochrai seforim about this sefer. He told me first of all the one who wrote this sefer is an erlicher yid, a Toldos Aron Chosid, Second this sefer was out for eight years until a competing sefer on chumash came out. That’s when this problem began.

Very deep and thoughtful man
Why is the sefer any different than say, Shaarei Aharon, which will offer myriads of commentary on a single posuk, often diametrically and fundamentally different from each other?
Has anyone gone off the derech by learning the Shaarei Aharon?
