QUEENS (VINnews/Sandy Eller) – A pair of Yom Tov attacks in Far Rockaway on visibly Jewish individuals have the NYPD turning to the public for help in an effort to locate three teens who harassed two Orthodox men on the second day of Pesach.

Police said that the first attack took place on April 7th at approximately 2:45 PM.
Two boys and a girl made anti-Semitic remarks as they threw rocks at a 49 year old Orthodox man near Caffrey and Mott avenues. The female suspect showed the victim that she had a razor, but the group fled the scene after a passerby intervened.
Several hours later, the group struck again, making anti-Semitic comments to a 48 year old Orthodox man near Brookhaven Avenue and Beach 17th Street at approximately 9:30 PM. A male suspect pushed the victim as a dispute ensued and the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
Both incidents are being investigated by the NYPD as hate crimes.
All three teens are African- American and were dressed in dark pants, with surveillance footage showing one wearing a black jacket with red hood and sleeves, another wearing a blue white and black horizontally striped hoodie and the third wearing a tan hoodie and baseball cap.
