After Successful Elimination Of Islamic Jihad Leaders, Israeli Newspaper Laments: ’10 Innocents Killed In Strikes’

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot which is affiliated with the Ynet news site caused an uproar after posting a controversial headline about the attack in Gaza in which Israel eliminated three senior Islamic Jihad terrorists.

The newspaper opted to focus on the other people killed in the targeted attacks, complaining in the headline that “10 innocent people were killed in Gaza”. The newspaper focused on the people’s names and said that “four women and four children paid with their lives.”

Lod resident Meir Layosh tweeted that “when they tell you that “innocent” people were killed in Gaza yesterday, remind them that one of those eliminated planned the murder of Tali Hatuel and her four daughters in 2004.”

The Torat Lehima organization added that “during the “Breaking Dawn” operation in 2021 18 innocent people from IDF fire and you didn’t see such headlines in Yediot Aharonot. Conclusion: The progressive left doesn’t care about Arabs or Jews, it cares about one thing- Power, Money and Control”

Another surfer said that “we can pack up and close the country, the Left has totally lost it.”

In another shocking headline from an Israeli news company, which later apologized for its terminology, Channel 13 posted a headline stating that “with the consent of the prime minister- women and children were killed in the attack last night.”

MK Kati Shitrit blasted the “shocking” headline, stating that “the hatred for the prime minister on this channel had made them lose their minds. No Israeli flag can cover up this disgrace. Be ashamed of yourselves!”

MK Michal Waldiger said that “with such headlines who needs enemies? This is a false statemennt which harms national strength.”

Channel 13 apologized, stating that “the headline appearing in the main news was improperly written and was misleading. We apologize to our viewers.”
