(Yaakov M / VINnews) — In a bombshell interview, Ukraine prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was fired in 2016 at the direction of then-VP Joe Biden, told Fox News that Hunter Biden was brought on to the Ukrainian gas company Burisma to “provide protection” from criminal investigations.

In a massive revelation being ignored by the mainstream media, Shokin, a key figure in the scandal, told Fox’s Brian Kilmeade:“I have no doubt that there were illegal activities engaged in by Burisma.”
“It continued to expand and Zlochevsky, who at the time held the post of minister … started bringing in people who could provide protection for him. Hunter Biden was among them and the corruption network expanded as a result,” he said.
Shokin was referring to corrupt Burisma CEO and founder Mykola Zlochevsky whom he himself was investigating for criminal behavior, before he was fired.

Shokin claims he was forced out of office in 2016 by former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko “at the insistence of Joe Biden” amid an investigation into Burisma and Zlochevsky.
Biden was withholding funding to Ukraine in exchange for bribes for Shokin’s removal, Shokin believes.
“I do not want to deal in unproven facts, but my firm personal conviction is that, yes, this was the case. They were being bribed. And the fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal, my firing, isn’t that alone a case of corruption?” he questioned.
Shokin says he was fired because his office “would have found the facts about the corrupt activities that they were engaging in. That included both Hunter Biden and Devon Archer and others.”
Kyiv’s former top prosecutor is a key figure in the investigation into the Biden family’s foreign business dealings and allegations of bribery and corruption. Shokin’s stunning accusations could add fuel to the demand for an impeachment inquiry into the president.
Biden publicly bragged about forcing out Shokin by threatening to withhold $1 billion in US loan guarantees.
Hunter Biden was on Burisma’s payroll for up to $1 million per year beginning in April 2014.
Shokin said he has “no doubts” that Burisma was engaged in illegal activity.
He said the probe into Burisma was “an ordinary case” but needed “special attention” given the Bidens’ connection.
“It was on a list of cases to merit special attention because Hunter Biden was involved with Burisma and of course, his father, the vice president. Biden at the time oversaw Ukraine affairs for the White House,” he said.
An FBI document made public last month revealed that a credible informant alleged that Zlochevsky said in 2016 that he was “coerced” into paying a $10 million bribe to the president and his son in exchange for Shokin’s ouster.
Internal Obama-Biden administration emails from 2016 published by “Just the News” this week showed that officials were shocked that Biden was pushing for Shokin’s ouster as a condition of US aid.
Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer told the House Oversight Committee last month that Burisma added Hunter to its board so that “people would be intimidated to mess with them … legally.”
Archer confirmed that Joe Biden met with Burisma advisor Vadym Pozharskyi in Washington in 2015, and spoke to Hunter on the phone with Pozharskyi and Zlochevsky present at a 2015 meeting in Dubai
One can only surmise that if a fraction of these allegations were said about the Trump family, Trump would not only be prosecuted, he would likely be brought before a firing squad. However the Bidens continue to get away with barely an investigation, and certainly no indictments.
Joe Biden has repeatedly (allegedly) lied about not being involved in Hunter’s business dealings. He also lied in the 2020 campaign when he called the Hunter laptop Russian disinformation.
Hunter Biden did nothing wrong. He is a saint.

This prosecutor was rhe one that both Republicans and democrats claimed was corrupt. If he wants to testify, in front of congress, congress should fly him over and hear his testimony. It shouldn’t require a subpoena as he seems eager to talk
Oy, noch a “bombshell”? Soon we’ll need a fortified bunker for all these VIN “bombshells”. The fact is the reason the mainstream media are ignoring the story is because, whether you like what you hear or not, professional journalists deal in verified facts, not wingnut fantasies. If actual verifiable facts emerge showing misconduct on Joe Biden’s part, then they should be reported, and you can bet real journalists will. But so far all these supposedly explosive revelations have been shown to be duds.
