A survey by Prof. Kamil Fox was published on channel 13 showed that 49% favor separate prayers, 40% are opposed and 10% did not express an opinion.
58% said that the protests made by left-wing liberals during Kol Nidrei prayers were wrong, 26% felt that they were legitimate and 16% said they didn’t know how to respond.
In another survey by Meno Geva in conjunction with I-Panel which was published on channel 12, 48% supported gender-separate prayers, 42% were opposed and 10% said they didn’t have an opinion either way.
Kan news in conjunction with the Kantar institute also published a poll in which 47% said that gender separation should be allowed at prayers and 34% were opposed to it.
Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich responded to the polls, stating that “a significant majority of people both on the right and the left disassociates from the violence of the minority who are burning bridges at the behest of Lapid and Gantz” [who both expressed support for the protesters in Tel Aviv].
Polls shmolls. Who cares about these things. If you want mixed seating go sit at a church.
Thank GD ,it’s good to see that there’s still some sanity left in the world ,BH that it happens to be the Jewish people
In Tel Aviv the responses were surely not that way. It was a city rule, not a national one.
