(VINnews) — Trey Yingst, a reporter who has been heavily embedded in the epicenter of battle since Hamas’ horrific terror attack against Israel, has posted a tweet implying that Israel may be guilty of war crimes.

Yingst, who many consider to be fair in his reporting thus far, tweeted: “It’s critical that Palestinian civilians have access to food and water in Gaza. War crimes must not be met with war crimes.”

Many Twitter users responded to Yingst in defense of Israel.

Kassy Dillon, a convert to Judaism who is also a Fox News journalist, replied: “Don’t you think Egypt should be providing right now?”

Egypt has done virtually nothing to aide the civilians of Gaza, yet gets a total pass from the mainstream media.

A Twitter account known as the “Jewish Resistance” replied: “You are there on the ground which means you are aware the water has been turned on in southern Gaza. Also. It’s not Israel’s responsibility to provide Gaza with water.”

Another user said: “Israel only supplies Gaza with about 11% of their water. This is not a war crime. A country that is attacked by a government of another has no obligation to supply the attacker country with anything. Remember — Hamas governs Gaza.”

One Twitter user posted: “During WWII, were the Allies obliged to ensure that the Nazis were hydrated and fed?”

It should be noted that the Rafa border crossing from Gaza to Egypt is blocked off. Egypt claims it would allow refugees to enter, but the blockade is coming from the Gaza side. Either way, the Gazan and Egyptian governments are the only ones to blame for what is now being called a “humanitarian crisis.”
