(Duvi Honig / VINnews) — As the world witnessed the barbarism of Hamas and the bestial murder of over a thousand Jews in one day by Hamas, it’s crucial to point out that America and liberal US Jewish groups owe an apology to Bezalel Smotrich for the unjust treatment he received following his appointment as Israel’s finance minister.

This treatment, which included disaffiliation and humiliating exclusion from embassy events and invites, stemmed from misunderstandings and misinterpretations of his character and ideals. It is important to recognize that Bezalel has consistently demonstrated his commitment to Israeli civilians’ safety and shown a deep understanding of the dangers posed by terror groups like Hamas.

Living in Samaria, in close proximity to Palestinian Arab towns, Bezalel faces the constant threat of violence and terrorism. He has firsthand experience of this danger and has tirelessly advocated for Israel’s defense and safety. It is crucial to acknowledge that he has never had malicious intentions or initiated violence against Palestinian Arabs. He was right about the terrorist hotbed town of Huwara – had the streets adjoining Route 60 been cleared, as he suggested, the Jews shot there at point blank range would be alive today.

The treatment of Bezalel Smotrich by the United States and liberal US Jewish groups was unfair and unwarranted. They responded to his appointment with unnecessary suspicion and hostility, characterizing him as a threa and an extremist, despite his commitment to protecting Israel in the safest manner possible. This is unacceptable and disregards his valuable insights and understanding of the security threats facing Israel.

It is clear that Hamas is a dangerous terrorist organization that must be confronted. With recent attacks resulting in the murder of over a thousand Jews in a single day, the urgency and significance of Israel’s defense measures are evident. Bezalel Smotrich understands the gravity of these threats, making him a valuable asset to the Israeli government.

Therefore, the United States and liberal US Jewish groups should apologize to Bezalel Smotrich. They must recognize their past misunderstandings and mistakes in judgment and embrace the current Israeli government as a whole. Bezalel acted as a visionary government official, fearlessly protecting Israel from terrorism despite facing immense criticism.

In conclusion, an apology is owed to Bezalel Smotrich for the unjust treatment he received. His commitment to Israeli civilians’ safety and understanding of the security threats facing the country make him a valuable asset to the government. It is time to rectify these errors, recognize Bezalel’s contributions, and build unity for a safer and more prosperous relationship between the US Jewish communities and Israel.

And the Board of Deputies of British Jews might do well to take note.

Speaking of apologies:
When will the author of this article apologize to the Starbucks corporation for the shameful and misdirected boycott that this OJCC advocated against Starbucks?

I never heard of this guy. I had to look him up. It seems he is one of those who people who love his nation but not most of the people who live in it.

In this case he is opposed to Muslims, Reform Jews, Gays, Jews who live secular lives, and the Shin Bet. Although one of the many deputy defense ministers, it seems he never bothered to serve in the military.

But he seems like a swell fellow otherwise.

Regardless, of the war, the shame the current (not the unified government) the far right elements are racist and have no
Morality to speak of. Only condemnation is the right path.

Nevertheless, for the good of the grater Country we will shout or mouth’s until we take care of Hamas and bring back the prisoners of Zion.
