The inclusion of Fried, a member of the Satmar community and CEO of Friedco Media, signifies a turning point in the political consulting landscape. It illustrates the importance of diversity and expertise in inclusive representation within the industry.
Friedco Media played a major role in New York campaigns in recent years. Among the firm’s key clients are Governor Kathy Hochul, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Congressman Pat Ryan, former Congressmen Sean Patrick Maloney and Mondaire Jones, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, and Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, a candidate for city comptroller.
The firm specifically assisted Hochul in connecting with Orthodox Jewish voters across the state during her reelection campaign last year. The approach included targeted outreach to Orthodox voters statewide and effective messaging that was tailored to resonate with the community.
Fried also served as a campaign consultant for Jewish outreach in Adams’ 2021 mayoral campaign.
