(VINnews) — Twitter users are fuming at Karine Jean-Pierre, after she was asked about a rise in antisemitism, and not only did she ignore the issue completely, she exploited the question as an opportunity to rant against anti-Muslims.

Her reply would be considered disgraceful at any time, and certainly now, following the horrific Hamas attack, coupled with a scary spike in Jew-hatred around the world.
A reporter asked Jean-Pierre: “What is [Biden’s] level of concern right now about a potential rise of antisemitism?”
She replied: “Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim have endured a disproportionate number of hate-fueled attacks…”

Dov Hikind, who has spent weeks in Israel, posted a scathing reply, calling KJP “a sick piece of work…liar, gaslighter, just horrible a human being!!!”

“Anti-Jewish attacks far outpace anti-Muslim attacks — it’s not even close! — and if there’s no credible threat of violence why was a Jewish woman just murdered in Detroit? And why were Jewish men in Brooklyn attacked in recent days?
“How many rallies have popped up with people calling for violence against Muslims? 0.
“How many rallies openly calling for “Jewish genocide”? Too many to count.

Joel Petlin, an Orthodox Jew who is a vocal Twitter user, mockingly tweeted: “Press Sec KJP: “I have nothing in my briefing book about rising Antisemitism, direct threats to Jews at rallies in major cities and universities, or the people tearing down posters of kidnapped Jewish kids, but I have lots to say about the dangers of Islamophobia, so here I go-”

It appears that KJP’s comments were not merely spontaneous, but rather part of an orchestrated White House strategy to shift the narrative from Jew hate to Muslim hate.
On Monday, President Biden’s Twitter account posted an image saying “There is no place in America for hate.”
One would have expected him to specify antisemitism.
As Americans, we must come together and reject Islamophobia and all forms of bigotry and hatred.

However the text of the Tweet said, “As Americans, we must come together and reject Islamophobia and all forms of bigotry and hatred. I have said repeatedly that I will not be silent in the face of hate. We must be unequivocal: There is no place in America for hate against anyone.”
Could it be that Biden is feeling the heat from the far-left wing of his party, and has decided he needs to focus on Muslims, rather than Jewish victims?
It’s not a phobia if the threat is real.
The insanity here is that the other side of this conflict is literally based on antisemitism and ancient tripes about Jews. Islamophobia, however, only comes about as a response to the situation rather than the position of the Israeli government. So, while antisemitism is literally at the core of this entire mess, we can’t talk about it since its the political opinion of the ‘other side’. It’s a sick world out there. We lived in scarily confusing times.
