Guterres ‘Horrified’ As Israel Hits Ambulance With Terrorists, But Silent When Hamas Do The Same

NEW YORK (VINnews) — UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned a recent attack by Israel on a convoy of ambulances leaving a Gaza hospital.

“I am horrified by the reported attack in Gaza on an ambulance convoy outside Al Shifa hospital,” Guterres posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Now, for nearly one month, civilians in Gaza, including children & women, have been besieged, denied aid, killed & bombed out of their homes,” Guterres continued. “This must stop.”

Gaza health officials said the Friday strike on the convoy resulted in the death of “a big number” of people. The IDF claimed in response that it had killed “a number of Hamas terrorist operatives.”

“A Hamas terrorist cell was identified using an ambulance,” the IDF said in a post on X. “In response, an IDF aircraft struck and neutralized the Hamas terrorists, who were operating within the ambulance.”

MDA head Eli Been lashed out at Guterres for his hypocrisy. He wrote that “Our paramedics were found wearing their surgical gloves when Hamas terrorists murdered them. Our ambulance drivers were murdered in cold blood on the drivers seat when they were on their way to save lives.”

Israeli social blogger Raz Sauder questioned why Guterres complained only when Israel attacked ambulances but remained silent even when there is clear evidence that Hamas targeted Israeli ambulances. Sauder provided chilling video evidence from a Hamas drone:
