WASHINGTON DC (VINnews) — Conservative GOP Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene blasted House Republicans who refused to vote for her resolution to censure antisemite Rashida Tlaib.

The Georgia representative introduced a resolution to censure Tlaib over her comments falsely blaming Israel for a blast at a hospital in Gaza (which turned out to be in a nearby parking lot), ‘alleged’ antisemitism, and “leading an insurrection” at the Capitol, referring to an incident in which over 100 pro-Palestinian protesters held a protest on Capitol property.
Twenty-three House Republicans voted to table the resolution, joining all House Democrats in a 222-186 vote for a procedural motion that blocked the disciplinary resolution from reaching the floor.
Chip Roy of Texas defended his vote and called the resolution “deeply flawed.” Roy said Greene’s resolution was “feckless … deeply flawed and made legally and factually unverified claims.”
He said the term “insurrection” should not be abused, referring to what he saw as an abuse of the term by Democrats to describe Jan. 6.
After the resolution failed, Greene went on Twitter to blast her Republican colleagues who voted against it.
“List of feckless Republicans that voted WITH Democrats to table my censure resolution against Rashida Tlaib. This is why Republicans NEVER do anything to stop the communists Democrats (sic) or ever hold anyone accountable!!” Greene said. “PATHETIC.”

I’m sorry, but MTG is a lunatic. I agree with Chip Roy. The censure should have teeth in the basis of being true, not MTG’s raving nonsense. Just because you agree with what she did – she’s a bull in a china shop, after all – doesn’t mean she did it well. Maybe she should try again and get facts right and don’t just use pointless inflammatory words like some leftist.
Yehuda is correct. This proposal needs to be resubmitted, and with the ridicculous stuff omitted. Chip Roy should lead that charge. Tlaib and a few other lunatics need to be put in their place. Aside from these bits of drama, the RNC should invest in getting these whack jobs who lack any sense of moral value primaried and then ousted from public office. Seats in the House are elected every two years.

Yes I am not sure about the insurrection piece. But she should be censored for putting our troops and personnel overseas at risk. President Biden personally expressed this to the NYT who rightfully so now became more cautious. (The WSJ is now worse)
Crackpot MTG has a long history, on the record, of being a White Nationalist who is a radical Xtian and antasemit. Attacking PLO Talib don’t change that.
WHy can’t we give credit where credit is due? MTG , firest of all, no one has it in black and white that she is anti-semitic. Why should we say that? We have much more in common with her than we do with slithering lying Jews, yes, even though they are Jews, sorry to say – Nadler, Schumer, Schiff and yes ! the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. MTG is a patriot, a G-d fearing
