JERUSALEM (VINnews) — BDE: The IDF has released the names of four more casualties, one of whom was missing since Oct. 7th and has now been found dead and the others killed in the fighting in the Gaza strip.

First Sergeant-Major Dovi (Dov Moshe) Cogan, from the village of Nov in the Golan Heights, was killed in the fighting. The 32-year-old father of 3 was an engineer, a graduate of the Technion who was pursuing advanced degrees and who worked for the Rafael defense manufacturing company, and a member of the special forces Shaldag unit. He was buried on Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem.
Sgt.-Major Gilad Rosenblit (21) from Kibbutz Genigar in the Galilee was killed in the Gaza strip fighting. His family has been notified.

Sgt.-Major Yehonatan Yitzchak Semo, from the village of Karmei Tzur in Gush Etzion, died of injuries sustained in the heavy fighting in the Gaza strip.

Ronni Eshel (19), an observer at the Nahal Oz base, was feared captured in the Hamas massacre on October 7th, but after more than 30 days her body was identified. Eshel, a resident of Tzur Yitzchak, had written to her mother that day: “Mummy don’t worry, everything is OK.”

It is heartbreaking to see these losses. May H-shem avenge their blood. To hear of bereaved parents and new almanos and yesomim. People who were so wholesome, intelligent with a life full of promise. But carpet bombing Gaza is not a solution because these low-lives are literally very low underground. And unfortunatley, the hostages are at great risk.
