WATCH: Mefalsim Kibbutz Members Fended Off Terrorists, Prevented Bloodbath

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In a candid interview with CNN reporter Erin Burnett, a group of members of Kibbutz Mefalsim’s security detail described their harrowing experiences on October 7th, including being attacked by dozens of Hamas terrorists who had superior firepower including anti-tank weapons and submachine guns.

The terrorists were organized and knew every aspect of the kibbutz, having detailed maps which included all of the strong points. The kibbutz members are convinced that workers from Gaza inside the kibbutz provided the terrorists with all of the relevant details and locations.

Despite all this, and despite the terrorists succeeding in blowing open the pedestrian gate to the kibbutz, the 12 defenders succeeded in fending off the terrorists at three different points on the fence. The terrorists then vented their fury on the hapless partygoers who had escaped the bloodbath in Reim and were trying to get to the kibbutz for safety, massacring them near the gates of the kibbutz.

After a protracted battle for many hours, the kibbutz members together with arriving military forces managed to eliminate most of the terrorists without suffering any casualties from the kibbutz. During the night, under cover of darkness and with the help of the IDF, the kibbutz members abandoned their homes and relocated northwards.
