In the IDF this expression appears to be vindicated, as even those who lead a secular lifestyle are asking to wear Tzitzis. Israel’s Kan 11 channel reported with some amazement that Tzitzis is the most sought-after item in the IDF at the moment, with tens of thousands of olive-colored undershirt Tzitzis already distributed to the soldiers at the front line.
