3 Shin Bet Heads Presented Operative Plan To Eliminate Hamas Leaders, Netanyahu Nixed It

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In the past few years, Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu was presented on numerous occasions with operative plans to eliminate Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and the rest of the Hamas leadership, according to a Maariv report.

On at least six occasions, the plans were presented to Netanyahu by heads of the Shin Bet who felt that the Hamas leader was a dangerous foe who could galvanize his terrorist army into massive incursions into Israel. On all these occasions Netanyahu refused to comply, continuing to view Hamas as a strategic partner rather than an implacable enemy.

Although the Maariv report is written by Ben Kaspit, one of Netanyahu’s most vociferous critics, it is supported by the testimony both of the Shin Bet heads as well as former defense minister Avigdor Liberman. Netanyahu himself denies the reports that such a plan was submitted.

Former Shin Bet head Yoram Cohen said that the organization had recommended an operation to eliminate all of the heads of Hamas in Gaza, and had suggested it to the political leadership. The Shin Bet saw Hamas as a murderous entity whose leadership must be foiled due to the dangerous nature of their agenda. Netanyahu rejected all of these suggestions, including those of Nadav Argaman and the current Shin Bet head Ronen Bar.

During the last year, the Hamas increased its commando battalion (Nukhba) by 100%, and Israel knew of this but apparently it didn’t raise alarm bells. Additionally, in a speech detailing the objectives of Hamas in 2023, Yahya Sinwar spoke openly of a “flood” of soldiers which would enter Israel. Hamas trained for the incursion in May, initiating a large-scale military exercise, which was duly noted by the 8200 intelligence unit and passed on to the higher echelons.

Sinwar: ‘Our fighters will reach you like a flood’

One member of the unit estimated that war could break out around Yom Kippur, based on her readings of the Hamas internal messages, but she was ridiculed by her superiors and labelled a “fantasizer”.

Kaspit concludes that the parallels to the Yom Kippur war debacle are “chilling” and all those responsible have already taken responsibility for their failures but should not be criticized during the war until they have completed the goal of toppling Hamas.

Netanyahu, even though he has yet to take responsibility, was obviously wrong in seeing Hamas as an asset rather than a foe. The prime minister continues to play a double game and has allegedly even given his word to Qatar that he will not eliminate the heads of the terrorist organization residing in Qatar, despite his claim last week that the Mossad will attack Hamas leaders ‘Wherever they are.’

Rather than keep blaming Netanyahu, I’d put most of the blame of the self destructive left (in Israel & thair financiers in the USA), their hands are full of Jewish blood

Simple, Natenyahu must go. He is the one that was relying too much on the wall as he pushed the 1.5 billion to build it. Rejecting all warnings.
If Israel just had a back-up for the wall, and continuosly stationed 300 soilders with jiust 30 armed vichles ready to go, they could of mowed down all these bums in cars and bicycles. Did you see the video of a crippled older guy with crutches walking in.
Even if Hamas beat the inelligence. of the shin-bet missed it – Where was the second line of defense?? How do you leave families, babies, girls, unprotected?

Netanyahu will have to explain some things, but his level of responsibility for this pales by comparison with Golda’s responsibility for the Yom Kippur War disaster. Not even close. Is there anybody else in the present government or the other parties who can handle this situation better than Netanyahu? I don’t think so. Leave the finger-pointing for after the war.

Nationalist Jews will always find an answer for the failures of the Israeli governments neglecting signs of wars. One day its Golda Meir now its Netanyahu etc etc. But those Yidden who know that everything is Min Hashomayim and that Hashem sends signs from time to time that he does not like A Jewish state before he sends Moshicah. And that he does not like the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of secular Jews in Israel the kingdoms palace who live life as full fledge Goyim. As it says clearly IN the Torah that Eretz Yisroel will spit out sinners. So from time to time Hashem blinds the entire government not seeing how under their nose naive stupid murderers Arabs are planning murderers acts.

False, false .

Netanyahu did take responsibility and has stated that there will be a reckoning after this operation is over. Lest we forget , Netanyahu cannot operate on his own . Time and again members of his cabinet past and present, as well various governmental , intelligence and security “experts” have torpedoed his plans. Miara, Dagan, Lieberman, Gantz , Chayut.

Take the recent – and not so secret, plan to attack Iran uncovered last year.

This article does nothing to help the moral of our troops or our brethren in Israel .

All those who attacked “Maven” are shallow thinkers. Maven was talking about the deeper, non-obvious level of how Hashem has programmed the world to operate. The shallow thinkers that lambasted him can only cognate what their eyes and ears input into their minds. But the world is a marionette show. The shallow thinkers only see the puppets’ movements on the stage. Maven was talking about how the Marionettist Puppeteer operates from above pulling the strings and who operates unseen from off stage. But everything that goes on below is 99% a function of will, plan and program from above. The Puppeteer has informed us that He allows us to influence how He will conduct the performance on the stage below. But’s it’s not by getting our grubby hands on the marionette puppets and manually moving them around, although a few tweaks like that may seem to improve the show. It is by following the instruction book He has given us, teaching us the art and wisdom of “puppetry” just as He knows puppetry.

I think after this war ends and maybe there will be an impartial investigation into such big screw ups, we will see a big change in the government.

On day, they are going to write a book about the need for term limits. You will open the book, and the only thing in it will be a picture of Netanyahu. Enough said.

Even before 10/7, I do not forgive Bibi’s murderous COVID policy of unesseraely risking youth by falsely claiming to save the elderly. Although not many better choices, how can anyone ever trust that deceitful lier lever again? How ironic is we now have to risk the young soldiers to protect the elderly.

It is inconceivable that a Prime Minister does not listen to the Shin Beth with regards to Hamas and does nothing to prevent an attack by Hamas, while knowing that they trained for this.
He always thinks he knows everything especially in warfare and made decisions
to the detriment and loss of life to about 1400 Jewish people and hostages (200 who are part of 7 million Jewish Israeli
people) having been taken from 26 Yeshuvim.
In the middle of the war, he decided to stop the war????thereby endangering our Soldiers and in fact declaring that the dead soldiers were in vain?? . Moreover the prime minister gave our enemies (Hamas the chance to reorganize themselves and to prepare Qatar, Hizballah, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Russia and China to attack the Jewish State , חש ושלום as per their meeting in Saudi Arabia. (Third World War). Even Gantz, Gallant and the other former Defense minister are guilty of cooperating with the prime Minister.
Please be advised that weakness, faulty decisions destroys.

We simply cannot expect Bibi to focus on two things at once. He could have take steps to stop Hamas, but he had to focus on rearranging the courts first.
