IDF Names 3 Soldiers Killed In Gaza Battles, Terrorist Shooting In Samaria

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The IDF announced the names of three more soldiers who fell in battle in Gaza over the past day.

The three were identified as:

Sergeant Liav Aloush, 21, from Gedera, who served in the Duvdevan unit, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

– Master sergeant Tal Filiba, 23, from Rehovot, who served in the Yahalom unit, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

-Sergeant First Class (Res.) Lidor Yosef Karavani, 23, from Eilat, who was a soldier in Engineering Battalion 8163 of the Southern Command, fell in battle on Sunday in the northern Gaza Strip.

Two other soldiers were seriously injured in the battles in the northern and southern Gaza strip.

On Monday morning, a terrorist opened fire on a civilian car riding near the Israeli village of Ateret. A woman was lightly injured and her husband and baby who were in the car were unhurt. Ten bullet shots were found on the car. The terrorists fled towards Ramallah and the IDF is conducting a manhunt for them.

The attack follows a stabbing attack Sunday in nearby Beit Aryeh (Rantis junction) and represents a spike in terrorism in the region.
