The account known as @aimhumor or “AY”, a positive and amusing frum satire account on Twitter and other social media platforms, beloved by tens of thousands of frum Jewish followers, posted a tweet asking people to be careful what they post and not to “jeopardize our integrity as a community”
AY tweeted: “Just a bakasha here for the frum members of X. Not everything has to be posted here, views and likes are a drug and not worth it. If you come across a clip that may jeopardize our integrity as a community, you can send it around your little whatsapp groups, just not here.”

The tweet comes in response to the massive amount of media attention, much of it negative, generated by recent video clips which originated in the frum community that have become global stories.
Aimhumor is generally a satirical account who pokes innocuous fun at all sorts of topics.
Some of his recent tweets:
“Big loss for hamas, not sure how they recover from losing claudine gay” (This was posted when on the very same day that Gay resigned, a top Hamas terrorist was killed in Beirut.)
“My new years resolution is to try to remember all my kabalos from Rosh Hashana”
“Apparently there’s a halacha somewhere that says anytime somebody is presented with donuts they need to say one of these two things, “I probably shouldn’t” or “there goes my diet””
These “requests” seem to pop up 98% of the time concerning one specific Chasidic sect.
I’ve seen it on YT as well. Imagine having no interest about fixing the issue but have more concern about covering it up? This is Yiddishkeit? This is Ehrlichkeit? This is Menschlichkeit? Oy lanu what have we become?
One sad example. A Shaliach built a Chabad house illegally & was having trouble with neighbors & the courts. The Shaliach blamed it on “Antisemitism”
A Chabad Real estate attorney read the case, all documents, filings & rulings. As a lawyer & an honest Yid he explained the Shaliach was wrong, acted in a shady manner & was absolutely disgusting for calling neighbors and govt officials Antisemites when it was clearly not the case
What was the response? How could a Shaliach cause a Chillul Hashem? We have enough Antisemitism the last thing we need is to blame the reaction of illegal activity on Antisemitism?
Of course not. The responses was to the lawyer. How can you disagree with a Yid & fellow Chabadnik (ignore your own conscience)? When you saw the Shaliach was wrong why did you have to say anything?
Sadly, some of us have become what outsiders have claimed us to be for centuries….
This is news?
I’m not sure he’s one to talk as he’s a big contributor to frum Twitter culture
