NEW YORK (VINnews) — A group of anti-Israel protesters attempted to breach and caused serious damage to a reinforced fence outside the White House overnight Saturday, causing personnel to be evacuated.

White House staff were ‘relocated’ after thousands of pro-Palestine supporters descended on the building, threatening to breach the security fence and throwing over the fence bloodied dolls as part of a huge demonstration demanding a ceasefire on Gaza.
Law enforcement officers defending the People’s House donned riot gear as the baying mob pelted them with dolls and other projectiles.
Video from the scene shows part of the fence being lifted off the ground as one protestor shouted “break it down!” Some protestors attempted to climb over the fence.

The Secret Service confirmed that non-essential personnel were evacuated as a precaution as the protest grew violent.
Protestors threw water bottles and sticks at the Secret Servicemen who kept them from breaking into the White House grounds.
Demonstrators repeatedly shouted expletives against President Joe Biden in protest of his support for Israel in the aftermath of the Hamas massacre of October 7, when over 1,200 people were murdered and over 240 were taken hostage.
Video taken at the event on Saturday shows how the metal perimeter was shaken so hard that portions of it were shunted back, forcing secret service operatives to rush to one part to prevent a breach.
The secret service later confirmed that the anti-scale fencing sustained ‘temporary damage’ which was ‘promptly repaired’.
The rally is part of a global day of protests to mark 100 days since the Hamas attack of October 7 which killed 1,200 and saw hundreds more taken hostage.
The temporary destruction caused during the rally meant that White House staff and journalists had to be evacuated from the area.
‘As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed,’ the secret service told Fox News.
‘The Secret Service made no arrests associated with the march and there was no property damage to the White House or adjacent buildings.’
Protesters calling for a ceasefire used emotive symbols to get their message across. At one point women in Palestinian dress staged a sit down protest cradling bloodied dolls bound in sheets.
Some of the signs read: ‘No votes for Genocide Joe,’ ‘Biden has blood on his hands’ and ‘Let Gaza live.’
INSURRECTION.
Peaceful demonstrations are protected by the First Amendment. Breaching barriers and attacking law enforcement is not. Those committing this violence should be met with lethal force. This emphasizes the extreme differences between the pro-Israel rallies and the evil pro-terror ones.

If the average American watching this scene isn’t repulsed and disgusted by the protesters and their cause, it doesn’t bode well for the US and its values. Violence, intimidation and lawlessness is their flagship.

VINnews calling the White House “The People’s House” is stupid and pretentious. While the White House is also (not so widely) known as The People’s House, in this situation it is ill-advised to use that term. It seems to lend validity to those that were attempting to illegally gain access.
