On Tuesday morning, the 102nd day of the Swords of Steel war, Hamas terrorists fired 50 rockets into Israel. Two of the rockets made direct hits in Netivot and a neighboring village. There were no casualties, although extensive damage was reported.  The rockets were apparently fired from the central Gaza region which was vacated yesterday after the 36th division was removed from Gaza for further training maneuvers.

IDF soldier operating in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahia discovered some 60 rockets ready for firing from a rocket launching installation. The soldiers destroyed the rockets and killed tens of terrorists in the ensuing battle.
