(VINnews) — Likud MK Danny Danon has written a letter to Sky News, demanding they terminate the news anchor who compared his suggestion about voluntary relocation of Gazans to the treatment of Jews during the Holocaust.

In a sharply worded letter posted on X, he writes that while he acknowledges “Sky News’s prompt apology following the antisemitic remarks,” he has yet to receive a “personal and sincere apology from Ms. Belle Donati herself, directed both to me and the entire Jewish community.”
Danon also said Donati’s online presence “exhibits a discernible bias and clear anti-Israel stance.”
“I anticipate that you will undertake the necessary measures to facilitate the immediate resignation of Ms. Donati from her current position,” the letter concludes.
Danon tweeted an image of the letter and wrote the following: “Earlier today, I submitted a formal letter to the Sky News Group, requesting the immediate termination of anchor
@belledonati. During our interview last Friday, Ms. Donati made a shocking comparison between the present situation in Gaza and the Holocaust. In 2024, there should be no tolerance for news anchors who propagate antisemitism and draw inappropriate parallels between the democratic state of Israel and the Nazis.”
