(VINnews) — On Friday, House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik kicked off the Young Jewish Conservatives (YJC) Annual Shabbat at CPAC program by lighting Shabbat candles and speaking to the crowd of over 150 Jewish attendees.

YJC was founded by Rabbi Yitzchok Tendler and Rabbi Ben Packer.
Congresswoman Stefanik was introduced by David Milstein and she lit candles alongside Julie Strauss Levin. Additional speakers at the YJC Shabbat at CPAC included Mark Levin, former Ambassador Richard Grenell, Hungary’s U.S. Ambassador to the United States Szabolcs Takács (he was introduced by YJC supporter and CEO of Henry Public Relations, Bryan Leib) and Israeli MK’s from the Religious Zionist Party Simcha Rothman and Ohad Tal.

During Elise’s remarks, she doubled down on her unwavering support for the Jewish people and the State of Israel saying “We are going to continue to combat Antisemitism – not just in higher ed but whether its at colleges or or k-12, our voices are going to be heard more than ever before.”
She continued saying: “We strongly support the Jewish people and Israel. In this time of historic need when Israel has faced the barbaric attack from Hamas and the aftermath – we will continue to do everything we can to support them. I will always be a voice for combating Antisemitism.
During his remarks, Mark Levin said: “The other side wakes up every single day trying to figure out how to destroy our country. We need to wake up like they do, but for the opposite reason. These people need to be crushed. These people need to be destroyed.”
“If you’re Jewish and you vote Democrat, you’re insane,” Levin added, to the loudest applause of the evening.

She started as a liberal republican, then switched biggly to MAGA. Says the Jan 6 rioters in jail are “HOSTAGES”!
She would be an awesome vice president for Trump and country. One issue is that she doesn’t have that much national recognition. She’ll at least be in the cabinet.
