One of the soldiers entering the apartment noticed that the coffee was still being prepared in the cups, a sign that people had been there very shortly before. Warning his friends about this, he told another soldier to fire towards the bathroom. When firing, the soldier’s headlamp had lit up the hiding place, and the terrorists saw his shadow. Thinking the soldiers were close, they opened fire. The soldiers backed off and called for tank and aerial support, which eliminated the three terrorists who were present in the apartment.
The soldiers said that the terrorist had enough food for two weeks and were equipped with surveillance cameras which had been installed in the building.
Thank you Hashem for fulfilling our tefillos and protecting Jewish soldiers.
