HUGE BLOW: ‘Rockstar’ Spokesman Eylon Levy Permanently Fired

43

ISRAEL (VINnews) — According to Israeli media reports, Eylon Levy, the extremely dynamic and popular Israeli govt spokesman, has now been officially terminated from his position, following his suspension last week. This firing is a big blow to Israel, which is already embroiled in a public-relations nightmare, due to immense anti-Israel and pro-Hamas media bias around the globe.

Channel 12 reported that the government decided to dismiss Levy from his position on Tuesday night, due to a series of diplomatic incidents in which he was involved – including a response to a tweet by the British Foreign Minister.

However the reasons for his departure are still highly vague, and his actions to not appear to warrant such a drastic move, especially considering his immense talent, combined with a dearth of positive PR for Israel. Some skeptics believe that the reasons for his firing are due to internal politics and a rift with Sara Netanyahu.

Levy is employed on a monthly contract, and the govt does not intend to extend his contract next month. N12’s source explained the decision, saying that Levy “strayed from the messages conspicuously and took liberties that caused diplomatic incidents.”

The government office clarified that “the latest incident in which he clashed with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron was the straw that broke the camel’s back,” Channel 12 reports.

Earlier this month, Cameron posted a message urging the Israeli government to increase aid shipments into the Gaza Strip.

Replying to the former Prime Minister, Levy, in a now-deleted tweet said: “I hope you are also aware there are NO limits on the entry of food, water, medicine, or shelter equipment into Gaza, and in fact the crossings have EXCESS capacity,”

“Test us. Send another 100 trucks a day to Kerem Shalom and we’ll get them in.”

According to Channel 12, the Foreign Office wrote to the Israeli government asking if the post they deemed critical of Cameron was the country’s official position, at which point Levy was suspended.

The government office listed several other incidents, including Levy’s audition on an entertainment TV show, without confirming this with his superiors beforehand.

N12’s report observed correctly that despite his firing, Levy is a young, energetic, articulate, and excellent spokesperson. He is to a large extent the new face of Israel, despite his mistakes. .

“He is to a large extent the new face of Israel, despite his mistakes”, OR, a success bc of his boldness to frankly and directly challenge detractors. And we’d call his actions and words brave initiatives, not mistakes. A mistake is when an unelected un-appointed person meddles in political affairs such as Sara Netanyahu.

This is incomprehensible.
Don’t underestimate the value of good PR, especially in wartime. We need the American people on our side because we need American arms and supplies. FINALLY Israel had an articulate, English speaking, charming spokesman to explain our case to the American people.

Israel had a person who could speak English clearly in enunciate his words clearly. The best part about him also was that he would challenge the lies with truths as opposed to what idiots like KJP do.

One of Israel’s major issues is that they don’t have anyone who could speak English clearly. Very few Israeli politicians speak English clearly. Most of them talk like they have marbles in their mouth. Granted in many ways I don’t blame them because English is not their first language, but when you need to be on the world stage, you need to speak the language of the world Kyle or a major language over the world.

One of the reasons Netanyahu was so good over the years is because he speaks English very well .

Israel is a third world country. When will people realise this? Levy’s problem is that he is giid, speaks, reads and writes English naturally and actually thinks on his feet on English, and is therefore a danger to King Bibi so Queen Sara has called in the Tower Guewtds to dispose of him. He has not been beheaded because no one can find the ax and he has not been sent to the dungeon in the Tower because the door keeper is on his annual vacation abroard to buy duty free cigarettes, only ten times as many as the legal limit though.

Eylon Levy, the best of the best, loved by all age groups, someone the Jewish public relates to and loves to hear his take on the news. He is the best PR person for Israel today, at this time. They should beg Eylon to come back and give him a raise and his own talk time.

Firing a spokesman is a “big blow”? He’s a “rock star? Come on. Israel is at WAR. Is this guy fighting in Gaza, driving a tank, rescuing our Hostages? Enough w the bloviated headlines.
