FAR ROCKAWAY (VINnews) — Students and delegations from Yeshiva Darchei Torah and from Achiezer, led by Rav Yaakov Bender shlit’a, the esteemed Rosh Yeshiva, visited the local police precinct to pay tribute to all those who devote their lives to helping others.

They held a banner dedicated to NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, who was tragically gunned down in the line of duty by a career criminal who had 21 prior arrests, just blocks from the local frum community.
In heartwarming video footage, Rabbi Bender praises and expresses his gratitude to the officers, who appear very touched and appreciative.
