no different here in monsey, since so many of these crazy drivers came here from brooklyn. look at monsey scoop and u’ll see countless accidents every single day, including, R”L, children being hit by cars or buses. On top of that, there are multiple occurrences of cars crashing into trees and poles. Perhaps, if these folks would stop texting while driving, this wouldn’t happen. And, do not tell me its not true, I see it all the time. Way too many drivers are on their phones (you can see them holding them), or texting (you can see them looking down). Time for these behaimos to realize that red lights, stop signs, no left turn signs, etc are not merely suggestions. Oh, and by the way, if you have a handicapped permit, if the handicapped person is not in the car, you are not allowed to park in a handicapped spot. Maybe, just maybe, a real handicapped person comes along, and they cant park because someone just doesnt give a damn.

Just saying, green light on left turn means nothing unless there was a specific turn signal (and a no walking sign to pedestrians). Then again, I drive in the area and sometimes pedestrians do wrong things. My vehicle was almost hit by carriages more than once.

When are the heimishe communities of BP , Williamsburg, Monsey, etc. and the PEOPLES of those communities going to begin to understand that Yidden are supposed to care, or at the very least, consider that others are also human beings and deserve to be considered as such. Too many frum people act as if they really believe they OWN the streets, neighborhoods, and all exists for only THEM. Such tragedies happen resulting from this attitude which is far too prevalent – an ugly arrogance which contributes to the already existing Jew-hatred we are seeing today. WAKE UP !!
