    New York Governor Kathy Hochul called the incident “outrageous and despicable,” emphasizing that “this antisemitism in Brooklyn is an attack on all New Yorkers and flies in the face of our values.” She reassured the restaurant’s owners and staff, stating, “Your state stands with you. And the perpetrators will be brought to justice.”

    Local leaders have joined in denouncing the act.
