Dallas, TX – Former Vice President Dick Cheney looked thinner at a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday in Dallas for George W. Bush’s planned presidential library. It was the first time Cheney has been seen at a major public event since he underwent surgery in July to install a heart pump implant.

The former VP, on hand to introduce Bush at the ceremony, made no mention of the quarrels Bush wrote of in his recently released memoir, “Decision Points.” Rather, he praised Bush as a president who handled his job “with courage, with clarity and with strength of heart.”
Though Cheney looked gaunt and somewhat frail compared with his days in the White House, he was his usual self, even managing to get in a dig at President Obama’s stimulus plan at the ceremony. “This may be the only shovel-ready project in America,” Cheney joked at one point, looking over his shoulder at Bush. According to the Bush foundation, the estimated $300 million library is already fully funded with private donations.
After the ceremony, Cheney walked off the stage with the help of a cane and posed for one photo with Bush and first lady Laura Bush as they held shovels. Then he excused himself early from the proceedings.
Cheney was a fair friend of Israel. We wish him well.
Cheney was a war profiteer who pushed the US into a war that bankrupted our country and took the lives of thousands of America’s young men and women. He should rot for all eternity. He was no “Conservative”. He was just a hawk who knew how to make millions off the misery and suffering of others.
Where are the Iraqi children throwing flowers at our soldiers, Dick?
Where are the spoils of war that you promised us, Dick?
The fact is that more Iraqi’s are killed every month since we went into Iraq than in any month in the preceding decade. It is a disgrace and we should never honor this man who was so corrupt. We should spit on this man who lied to us Conservatives and made us believe he was one of us. He is just a disgusting piece of human filth and the sooner that he is a distant memory, the better.
I would have to agree with #3. This is one of the most evil men to have ever walked on our planet.
As for any “help” that he gave to Israel, believe me when I tell you that if the cards were dealt differently and Israel had something that he wanted, he would have been the very first to launch a full scale war against us instead of Iraq. He is not a friend to Israel! He is a friend of his pockets! The man should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of international law for war crimes. Send him to the Hague before he dies so that they can put him where he belongs!
He has not been the same since he shot his friend in the face with his hunting rifle.
I have to agree with #3, but I must admit that I bought stock in his company, Haliburton, expecting to profit from the war.
#3. Ur a bush hater from last time around. Go on cry on spilled milk. Wait Obama will schlep you out of war. By the way he is late on it but don’t worry he will get there ….
well, obama is healthy and strong looking.
