Every Erev Pesach, unfortunately there are many tragedies that could have been avoided! In recent years, burning the Chumetz has become for some a burning tragedy. They ended up in the hospital instead of sitting at their seder table.
It is the responsibility of EVERY parent to keep an eye on their precious Kinderlach (children).
This year, the Boro Park Jewish Community Council & Community Board 12, in conjunction with the FDNY, NYPD and the NYC Sanitation Dept. have designated certain areas for the Burning of the Chumetz.
The following are a list of locations that will have special burning cans to burn all the Chumetz.

·12th Ave. Corner 41st, 45th, 47th, 52nd, 57th Streets
·13th Ave. Corner 43rd, 53rd Streets

·15th Ave. Corner 42nd, 45th, 47th, 53rd Streets
·16th Ave. Corner 44th, 47th, 53rd, 57th Streets
·17th Ave. Corner 43rd, 48th, 59th Streets
