According to state police at the Ephrata barracks, an antibiotic was put in a dairy tank on Eli Glick's farm at 6145 Wanner Road, Salisbury Township.
State milk inspectors discovered the tainted milk June 11 and again June 19, state police said. The inspectors notified Glick after each incident.
Glick's loss is estimated at $5,000.

Chester D. Hughes, interim county extension director for Penn State Cooperative Extension, said he had heard of no similar incidents at other county dairy farms.
Hughes said farm vandalism isn't something farmers like to make public. "They don't want to give anyone ideas," he said.
