Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine – Workers Found Grave Believed to be Jewish

Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine – A grave believed to contain the remains of Jews was found in eastern Ukraine.

The grave was found in Dnepropetrovsk area, when workers digging for the foundation of a planned shopping center found bones at the site of a former Jewish cemetery.

The construction was suspended and it was assigned a special commission to investigate the case. The commission includes prominent representatives of the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community. [jta]
