Law enforcement agencies are searching for fugitive Avraham Rotenberg, 19, of Birch Street, Lakewood, in connection with the robbery, Howell police Detective Eileen Dodd said.
Some of the jewelry was recovered after Rabbi Michael Rottenberg of Heathwood Avenue received a mysterious call at about 4:30 a.m. March 6 telling him to look outside his door for packages. The rabbi called Lakewood police. The bags contained only some of the proceeds from the store robbery.
Federal marshals and the FBI are looking for Rotenberg in connection with the robbery.
Rotenberg, who has a New York driver's license, is listed in the state's wanted persons database but is not listed in the federal wanted person's database until after a grand jury indictment, Dodd said. [APP]
He’s a great boy from a great family. Nebach something awful must have happenrd in his head to make him do something like this (alegedley). Before you bash, please think about his parents and the excruciating pain they must be in.
i know the bochur he’s a good guy, don’t judge before the jury. at least in usa the last time i checked your innocent until proven guilty.

Some people can’t see the word Lakewood without cursing, just like there are some who can’t get passed the word Satmar without cursing.
The problem is you, not Lakewood.

We all knew this was coming. I’ve heard that this kid left the country a long time ago. Nebach that such things are starting to happen within our community. Now all the bashers will start blaming this one and that. Just keep it to yourselves.
