That would raise the average overall annual electricity delivery bill from about $1,370 to about $1,404. The figure does not include the price of the electricity itself.
O&R originally sought a 10.8 percent increase, but through negotiations with the state Public Service Commission, the increase was lowered to 2.5 percent for each of the next three years.
O&R serves 112,320 electric customers in Rockland and 97,253 in Orange. [Journal News]
