    The Dow starts the day at 8,691. The NASDAQ composite opens at 1,603.

    Meanwhile, weakness prevailed on Thursday as corporate outlooks and economic news have taken on a downbeat theme. The Labor Department said that new claims for unemployment benefits rose by 15,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 478,000.

    This market have not crashed from one day to the next, people had plenty of chances to take a slight loss and go cash for now, but, some are greedy, some can’t see themselves giving up positions they held for years, so if anybody tells me that they lost in the stock market today or the last week, I don’t have pity, playing the stock market now is like gambling….
