Hadassah Ein Kerem is the same hospital the haredi community protested against in the “starving mother” affair. Weiss underwent a series of examinations and was released shortly afterwards.

Shmuel Chaim Pappenheim, an Eda Haharedit member, told Ynet that Weis’ hospitalization proves that no official figure is boycotting the hospital and that any such boycott is being carried out at the behest of private individuals only.

“We definitely have claims and demands from Hadassah following the affair of the mother from Mea Shearim, but a boycott? That’s completely out of the question.”

Pappenheim stressed, however, that the Hadassah hospitalization did not constitute a clear saying to the other direction, and that Weiss was only hospitalized there because the doctor treating him works at the hospital.

He should have a refuah shelamah and rest comfortably knowing he is being treated by the very same doctors and nurses he has slandered. He is fortunate that doctors have taken a vow to heal everyone without regard to who they are or what evils they may have committed.

No one should boycott those who dedicate their live to save people, they are doing a perfect job, even if sometimes mistakes happen, let’s not forget they are also humans, and nothing is even clear in the story with the chasidishe mom and the hospital so why the boycotting ?
Anyway, a quick refuah shalaima to this man and all the sicks

How do you know he’s being treated by the very same doctors he slandered, or if he slandered anybody at all?

I have been discussing this point without end. Who is Pappenheim kidding? He and his rabbis want to put kids on the line against the police, with wide condemnation in protests by Satmar and Neturei Karta, and here we have their head rabbi (as many ordinary people) getting served by Hadassah. What a joke!

Where is the Hakoros Hatov of these “rabbonim”? Be grateful to the hospital, not attack it.

Wow. I really respect the professionalism and good hearts of the drs. nurses and all the staff for treating people who spread stories that the whole hospital is involved in an evil conspiracy and who criticize the secular education and science that makes their medical care possible. It must be very difficult for them knowing that if something happens to this man while hospitalized even if not their fault, they will be blamed. I wish this rabbi a speedy recovery.

I don’t know who’s running the show there but I would not have haddasah take care of rav weiss simply because a clash of ethics there r plenty of other good hospitals like tel hashomer etc. That can tackle his medical issues without havng to deal with the peer pressure permrating the corridors next to his ward this is common sense but as we know common sense is not so common

the anti zionists are hopeless dupes who are programmed like robots to repeat what they were taught from childhood on hate and thats what they know anyone who thinks rationally instinctively sees what is going on here its obvious to a clear headed person were the fault lies here non other then the mother what a shame that some yidden can be this blind to reality

Maybe if you check facts from people on the “inside” you will find that the USA was behind 9/11.

There are no facts here supporting the mother, only bubbe maysehs. These “ehrlicher yidden” can’t even supply the name of the disease the baby supposedly had, and what the proper treatment is supposed to be, and what the “terrible” doctors did instead, and messed up with. Furthermore, if the hospital caused this “disease” and really the baby was well all along, then why did the mother keep bringing in a healthy baby? And if there was any real pre-existing disease, how is it that as soon as the mother was arrested, the baby got better? Pitom! No medicine or treatment necessary! It is obvious there was no disease, just starvation. You don’t need to be an Einstein to see this.

As far as “gedolim” saying or doing wrong things, Shas and Tanach have a few examples. I believe Shevna is mentioned in the gemara, and Yoav in Tanach. Before taking on someone as your Rebbe, make sure he has sterling midos, since that is the ikar. Im domeh Rabcha lmalach Hashem Tzivakos, tivakesh Torah mipihu, v’im lav, al tivakesh.
