Now, he’ll be serving pizza in Baltimore.
Well, sort of.
Abramoff, 51, is a Capitol Hill lobbyist and businessman who pled guilty in 2006 to felony counts related to his lobbying and political activities.
That is all behind him now.
Through the good graces of Tov Pizza, which has served this community for more than 26 years, Abramoff will begin to rebuild his life.
Out of a halfway house, he now works with Tov owner Ron Rosenbluth in almost all areas of the restaurant business, with perhaps a focus on marketing strategies. Abramoff was owner of a kosher restaurant in Washington, D.C., and has experience in the kosher food industry.
Jack is a real remarkable person. I met him in jail(while visiting) and he has truly uplifted the spirits of his fellow jewish inmates.
beautiful! how great to hear of ahavat Yisrael after the whole fiasco in Emanuel
what a kiddush hasem!
i love that pizza and he is a great guy. great combo. everyone should go give chizuk
is this the same pizza store that Solomon Dreck frequents? I believe he was photographed there a few months ago.
This is what I call a Kiddush Hashem, not 100,000 protesting and calling police officers nazis.
מי כעמך ישראל
Not allowed to swear but I _ _ _ _ _ that I cannot stop laughing at this story.
Do people realize or recognize who Abramoff was in his heyday?
How many pies must I purchase before he gives me his autograph. This guy is notorious. His autograph will be valuable years from now.
Will he be installing a new “lobby” to spruce up the pizza shop on Righteoustown Road?
Will it be in the movie? I know Kevin Spacy is palying Jack, I wonder is playing the Rosenbluth brothers
As long as the sephardim are willing to adhere to school rules and want their children to receive a chassidish education, why should the school reject them? that is not perhaps what Hashem wants. Even if the sephardic children are not yet on such a high level of chassidishkeit yet, through education and living among such frum yidden, it would have a beneficial influence. I imagine the parents of Emanuel worry about a negative influence on their kids but if they follow the example of Chabad and are more concerned with mekaroving others, Hashem will protect their children and they will not have to worry.
We love you Jack.
Hatzlachah on all your new endeavors.
Keep those Pizza’s coming.
To #12 – Tov Pizza is a Baltimore institution. The Rosenbluth brothers are pillars of the community. Maybe they can cameo as themselves in the Jack Abramoff movie Bagman
Nice to see that he finally has an honest job. You don’t have to be a macher to be a good Jew.
