The WALL STREET JOURNAL (http://on.wsj.com/YFvrNC) is reporting that Mr. Paterson, who served as governor until 2010, is set to become a professor of health care and public policy.

A statement released by the school Thursday said Mr. Paterson will lecture medical and law students on ‘health care-related legislation and the overall role of government in health care.’

Touro College President, Alan Kadish, said, “It is clear that public policy will continue to play an ever-greater role in the provision of health care, and we want our students to have a deep understanding of their profession. Having David Paterson offer his insight will prove to be invaluable.”

Mr. Paterson most recently worked as an afternoon radio host on WOR-AM. His career as a host ended in December when the station was acquired by Clear Channel Inc.

What a great addition to touro. Gov patterson is a smart and well articulated person. He will make a great teacher.
That being said, Touro is not rhe most friendly health science school for a frum boy.
Been there and had to fight for every right that is an automatic for all other non jewish school.

The world is full of so called experts, insurance administrators, Hospital and insurance CEO’s as well as patients and their advocates. Maybe a disabled person that was in the seat of power and decision making is a good fit for this position.
Please excuse the accidental pun as title.

I’ve heard him on the radio. He’s a moron. And his term as governor reveals this fact, as well. He was a laughing stock and a disgrace. And for an Orthodox-run institution to hire a cheater is a shonda and a chillul hashem.
