Brooklyn, NY – With the 4th annual Bike4Chai two-day charity bike event set to kickoff Wednesday, Brooklyn cyclists, aided the generosity of Brooklyn’s Orthodox Jewish community, have already helped raise over $2.4M for Camp Simcha, the Glen Spey, NY overnight summer camp that specializes in meeting the medical and social needs of teens with cancer and other serious illnesses.

The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS (http://nydn.us/160sY45) reports that over 275 cyclists have already registered for the two-day 175-mile ride that begins at the Jersey Shore in Asbury Park and finishes at Camp Simcha.
Abe Banda, owner of Pomegranite in Midwood, will lead a team of cyclists from Brooklyn.
“I like biking and I want to do something positive,” said Banda.
