Amityville, NY – A 20-year-old Long Island man has been arrested and is expected to be charged with seven counts of “knockout game” assaults, law enforcement sources say.

WABC-TV New York (http://bit.ly/1keyNDK) reports Darryl Mitchell is expected to be charged in the assaults dating back to April of 2013 in the Babylon and Amityville area. At least two of the victims were elderly residents.
The victims range in age from 17 to 69 years old. The most recent assault occurred in the last two weeks.
Mitchell is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.
