Their second set of general election ads focus on her decades advocating for children, including her work as first lady on the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
Unlike her first set of ads, they do not mention presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.
Advertising tracker Kantar Media’s CMAG shows that Clinton’s campaign has booked about $7.8 million in airtime over the next six weeks. Trump has no campaign ads planned for the summer.
Clinton is one of the most famous political figures in the world, but her aides insist there’s much voters don’t know about her. They attribute some of her high negative ratings to misperceptions about her past.
The ads begin on Thursday in eight battleground states.
