The ceremony, which was attended by President Reuven Rivlin , Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot and Police Commissioner Roni Alshich marked the beginning of the day which honors the 23,544 security forces who have died defending the State of Israel since the beginning of the modern Jewish movement in the Land of Israel in 1860 and victims of terror.

I would not say it is the opposite, you can live a very frum life here with little problems and not much money needs, but the problem is the polarization of people meaning too many people in Eretz Yisroel have become more and more extremist in their thinking of the other Jew.
We need more people like Rav Grossman and Chabad to go out to reach the other not yet religious Jew and less extremism.
