We strongly urge everyone to be proactive and not wait until the last minute to implement a hurricane preparedness plan. Preparations include bringing in yard items, having flashlights and batteries on hand, filling up your car with gas, having water and non-perishable foods available, filling prescriptions, taking out cash, etc. For more information on hurricane preparedness, please click here.

In the event of an evacuation order, we strongly urge you to leave the evacuation zone and relocate to a safe location.

If you or a family member living in the affected areas has a medical condition that is dependent on electricity, such as oxygen, etc., we strongly urge you to do your best to relocate to a safe location with more reliable electricity.

Hatzalah will remain active and will continue responding to calls throughout our regular coverage areas until it is unsafe to do so.

In the event of a true medical emergency, please call 911 and the Hatzalah Emergency Hotline number at (305) 919-4900.

For non-medical emergencies, please call the Chessed Shel Emes (CSE) Florida Emergency Hotline at (845) 572-0500.

These lines will be answered 24/7 from a location outside the affected area to ensure uninterrupted communications.

Residents who are remaining in town are strongly urged to register using the form below and provide information such as location, how many people, contact info, and if there are any people with medical conditions who may require assistance.

We hope and pray that all of these precautions and preparations will not be needed.
