NEW YORK (JTA) – Rabbis in multiple Orthodox communities are urging their members to take the COVID-19 vaccine in the days before Rosh Hashanah.

As cases and deaths from the Delta variant continue to rise in parts of the country, rabbis in Baltimore, Maryland, and New York’s Long Island released video messages calling on unvaccinated community members to take the shot.

“You haven’t lived through enough?” asked Rabbi Yaakov Bender, head of Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, before adding a sentence in Yiddish. Far Rockaway, which is home to a large Orthodox community, has one of the lowest rates of vaccination in New York City. “We in the community have to realize that if 99% of doctors say to take the shot, you take the shot. What are we, playing games?”

The video from the Long Island rabbis, which was released Wednesday, directly addresses one piece of misinformation about the vaccines that has spread widely in Orthodox communities: that they can adversely impact fertility for men and women. In the Orthodox community, where birth rates are typically higher than in the general population due to the importance placed on bearing children, such fears have caused some to forgo the vaccine.

“We see no evidence of any kind of negative outcomes for fertility and no evidence of increased risk to women of childbearing age,” said Rabbi Shalom Axelrod of the Young Israel of Woodmere said.

Other rabbis stressed the importance of vaccinations to safely celebrate the High Holidays, which are often marked with large gatherings in synagogues and for holiday meals.

“Travel and celebrate the ‘yamim noraim’ responsibly, get vaccinated now,” said one rabbi in the Baltimore video, which was released last month, using the Hebrew words for the High Holidays.

Some of the rabbis even thanked God for the vaccines.

“The ‘ribbono shel olam’ has given us a gift, safe and effective vaccines,” one said, using a Hebrew term for God.

There is one point people are missing here. It seems as if non-vaxxing is “guilty until proven otherwise”, while Vaxxing is ” safe until proven otherwise”. This is exactly the way Pfizer and Moderna wants us to feel like.

However, our Torah states שב ואל תעשה עדיף. Thus, unless proven otherwise, a Yid should just sit back and rely on Hashem!…

Sadly the rabbis are blindly following the mainstream medical mafia which is owned by big pharma. In fact, two high level FDA doctors resigned this week in protest. Fauci runs FDA and everyone knows he’s a corrupt criminal and did anyone know his wife is director of the NIH which also is involved in drug approval? This experimental gene therapy was rushed to approval without standard safety trials and many signals of safety ignored. The approval was a secret affair with no information disclosed including all the data regarding safety and efficacy. Why the secrecy? For young people at low risk of COVID, the safest choice is to avoid the experimental therapy until long term data is available. And the long term data will be sketchy as the original trial control participants were allowed to get the vaccine so we won’t be able to do a comparison study. And everyone who suffers side effects is called “coincidences”.

So interesting….
Cuz lots and lots of obgyns actually are seeing a much higher rate of miscarriages and birth defects,
But of course that’s not where we get our info from
We rather believe the companies that are producing this
Do your own homework and remember, don’t ever follow anyone blindly who does not have to deal with the consequences.

Golda says “I wonder if these Rabbis know that no long-term studies were conducted on these covid vaccines effects regarding fertility and the impact it has on children.”

I wonder if Golda knows that no long-term studies of Covid-19 infection on Fertility have been conducted either . Being that we already know that long Covid is a thing, I’d rather take my chances with the vaccine that is already proven to be remarkably effective against Covid.

The ignorance of our heimisha oilom is dizzying and disappointing. Where are you, smart Yidden, with a deeper understanding to what is really going on here? Why this nonsensical silly nit-picking each other, getting nowhere, and learning nothing helpful or constructive ! Wake up! After spending hours upon hours , actually days, of reading and research regarding this matter of vaccines, pro and con, their mechanism, (how they work), effects, both pro and con, what qualified researchers and doctors have to say, etc. (why don’t you do your own investigations?), it is so crystal clear that , our Rabbonim are having this propaganda shoved down their throats, with a minimum of facts and TRUTH, and we, the people, are being made guinea pigs for a psychopathic murderous Nazi-totalitarian regime whose sole aim here is to kill as many people as possible with this lethal bio weapon. Open your eyes! It is NOT A VACCINE! Do some research. Read about what Dr. Peter McCullough, from Baylor University has to say, or Dr. Ryan Cole, from Idaho – two eminent qualified brilliant doctors and researchers of this thing. This is NOT a Shabbos Kiddush topic to nit pick over ! We are dealing with life and death. Just make sure you know the FACTS and Hashem Yeracheim – He should protect all of us – klal Yisroel, in this New Year!

I’m still wondering if they were all paid off? Threatened? What could possibly cause so many “Rabbis” to advise Yidden to take this horrible experimental injections?

I wonder if these Rabbis know that no long-term studies were conducted on these covid vaccines effects regarding fertility and the impact it has on children.

In fact, the FDA requires that in 2025 Pfizer submit studies of (their own) findings of the effect on women’s fertility and on the impact, if there is any, on the children born of mothers who were vaccinated while pregnant with them.

That the FDA approved the vaccine before the studies are complete is not surprising if you learn that 50% of the FDA’s budget is financed by pharmaceutical companies and many FDA employees went on to get cushy jobs at these companies they are supposed to regulate. But the point is that even the corrupt FDA who approved these vaccines early require long-term studies on this subject so how exactly can anyone else determine the long-term affects these cell-based vaccines have on fertility and unborn children?
