MONSEY (VINnews) — A shocking attack took place in the Monsey area on Sunday, when a frum homeowner was viciously assaulted by a worker who came to clean his lawn.

According to witnesses, the Jewish victim called a company to clean his lawn. The company owner arrived with a worker, and then the owner left.
At one point the victim went to his driveway to move his car, and the worker told him that he wanted to come into the home to use the bathroom. The victim told him that he could not come inside. At that point the victim went up his steps onto his porch, and the worker followed him, pulled out a pair of scissors, and assaulted the man and started biting him.
The victim’s wife saw the attack and called Chaverim. After a few moments, the couple’s son-in-law arrived and discovered the attacker trying to throw his father-in-law over the porch fence.
At that point he ran up toward the porch and the attacker released the man and started fighting with his son-in-law.
Seconds later, multiple Chaverim members arrived on the scene and were able to hold down the attacker until the police arrived
The police placed the attacker in handcuffs with Chaverim’s assistance, and they called EMS to transport the attacker to the hospital with the police escorting.
The victim was checked by Hatzolah and is being treated by his personal doctor. It is not clear at this point the extent of the man’s injuries, or the motivation behind the brutal attack.
And thanks to cuomo, he’ll be right out on the streets again.

Moral of the story. You better make sure you have a port-a-potty for people that need to do yardwork for you.
The version of the story in Hamodia states that the home owner/victim did not know who this stranger was – the worker arrived after the lawn company owner had already left so he was never introduced to the home owner/victim. And that the worker “seemed to be intoxicated” with one witness stating “It was obvious that he was on some sort of substance” (I suppose meaning drugs).
Which street did this occur?
For all those Jewish democrat voters he’ll be out on the streets in a couple minutes thanks to bail reform.
If you want goyim to come and work on your house you have to let them use the bathroom. If you don’t want them to, then pay more and get people you know. I’d be annoyed if I wasn’t allowed to use toilet also. Where did they want him to poo?
I feel like a lot of facts are missing from the story and let’s say if all the facts are here it is wrong of this person to go and attack someone else but that being said there is also, Human decency let the guy use the bathroom. I’ve had workers come to do work for me and asked if they can use the bathroom and I always said yes I would just bleach the bathroom after they were done.
I hire these workers all the time. sometimes no one is at home to let them use the bathroom. They find other ways to relive themselves. Hint….there are sheds nearby and trees with bushes. When hiking or going down a river we face the same problem and prepare for this human need.
Still the homeowner should have been a mench and walked the guy in to use the bathroom.
I have not hired any frum or even white contractors in years as they always bring illegal alien Latinos who have no skills to do the shoddy work and then scout out your home for an invasion as has been happening in Lakewood recently alot.
People are very sensitive, as the slang expression goes, to “being dissed” (being disrespected). Those that are more stable, secure, and established could more easily overlook such insults, though even for them it could be difficult. But people of lower social status, on the margins of society, like this perpetrator presumably, are already on the edge, precarious, and shaky, and could more easily be provoked to extreme reactions like this (I recall a case years ago that ended with someone dead R”L after such a confrontation, and that was far from a singular incident). Therefore, extra care and caution is called for when dealing with them, though of course, one needs to practice כבוד הבריות, basic respect for other people, with humankind in general, at large.
It used to be that local teenagers would make a few extra bucks by mowing a neighbor’s lawn, raking leaves, and clearing snow. In the insane world of today, the teenagers are too lazy, and the homeowners are stupid enough to hire completely unvetted illegal aliens. Hence the above story.

Are you kidding? The man treated the worker like dirt by not letting him use the bathroom! If the owner was a mentch it wouldn’t have happened.
IMNSHO, a dishwasher repairman or electrician is entitled to ask to use the bathroom. They might even be justified in asking for a drink. But if a gardener/landscaper asks for a drink or to use the bathroom, I would be creeped out. All the gardeners I’ve seen come quietly, leave quietly, and out a bill in the mailbox, perhaps with a note to pick up the riding toys before they come. Regular gardeners understand the boundaries inherent in the job. As for facilities- there is a Dunkin Donuts two blocks away. They figure it out!
The same way I wouldn’t knock on some shmoe’s door off of Coney Island Ave to ask to use the bathroom, gardeners don’t/shouldn’t either.
That’s the way I see it.

Obviously this worker was missing a screw. A person like that let him use bathroom. Once you get into a confrontation with such people you never know their reaction.

What was the problem with his lawn? Was it some leaves were on it perhaps? If so, he should have raked the leaves himself quietly, it is good exercise, instead of paying for some illegal alien to come with an ear-blasting, atmosphere polluting leaf blower. Those leaf blowers are banned in some places already, and should be in others in the future as well.
