The woman escaped independently with two children suffering from smoke inhalation. We gave them oxygen and transferred them to hospital. A 7-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl were evacuated from the apartment by firemen and we placed them immediately in a MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) for medical treatment. The girl was unconscious and not breathing and was taken to hospital during resuscitation and the boy was conscious and stable but had suffered burns and smoke inhalation.”
